Bonnaroo unveiled its 2012 lineup moments ago with the random help of ESPN's John Anderson. And according the SportsCenter funnyman, it's going to be "crazy good."
Appearing in a YouTube video, Anderson pulls out a Roland AX-Synth from under his desk--a keytar he lovingly calls his battle-axe--and comically recalls the days he spent in a band.
"We toured all over the place--central Missouri, west-central Missouri," Anderson jokes. "Great life, just me and my battle-axe."
Anderson mentions Radiohead, Phish, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers before "wailing" on his shoulder-synth and cutting to a retrofitted animated lineup.
Grammy award winners Bon Iver and Skrillex, the Beach Boys, Alice Cooper, Ludacris, St. Vincent, and The Roots are among the diverse bunch scheduled to take over Manchester, Tennessee on June 7 through 10. Meanwhile, funnyman Aziz Ansari is among the nearly two-dozen comedy acts at this year's festival.
Tickets for the four-day festival go on sale this Saturday, February 18 at noon. For a complete lineup, visit bonnaroo.com.
