Today is the day Italian electro outfit, the Bloody Beetroots, kick off the North American leg of its Death Crew 77 tour. Unfortunately, tonight's show at Mansion won't be a live performance, just a DJ set warmup. However, Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea were arguably DJs before this whole live show concept ever came to fruition, so you shouldn't be completed disappointed.

Anyway, as a quick primer, we give you the Beetroots' latest offering, a remix of the Chemical Brothers track "Dissolve."

What happens when big beat meets electro-house? Not surprisingly, the results are dangerously danceable. It starts with a harpsicord-laden intro that quickly gives way to more traditional electro screeches and peaks.
