Ah, Valentine's Day. A day of love, of chocolates, of roses and sonnets and cheating girlfriends.

Cheaterville Inc. a social media company that lets users post information about alleged cheaters, released some downright depressing statistics this morning, just in time to screw up everyone's V-Day romance. Among the revelations: Of all the alleged cheaters posted by the site's 300,000 users, a staggering 81% are women.
But don't worry, men. On Valentine's Day, the number of unfaithful lovers who are women drops to 65 percent. Well, that's a relief.
And it doesn't end there. According to the report, women aren't just overwhelmingly unfaithful to their lovers; they're also disloyal to their gender. Ladies post 42 percent of the reports on Cheaterville, meaning there are just as many girls ousting cheating women as there are jilted male lovers.
Other sad numbers from the report: 17 percent of the alleged cheaters on the site are married; one in three alleged cheaters did the naughty with a co-worker; the average age of an alleged cheater is 24; and the majority of alleged cheaters are Scorpios.
The news definitely puts a damper on the upcoming Valentine sap-fest. But don't call the Cheaters detective squad on your girl just yet. There's a reason we're overusing the word "alleged" in this post: Cheaterville doesn't verify the claims of its users, so there's no way to know if these numbers indicate real cheaters, or just really pissed off ex-lovers. The site's posting policy indicates that individual users are legally responsible for their claims, stating, "All CheaterVille posts will automatically include a legal disclaimer stating that all posts by the author, guest author and visitors reflect personal thoughts and opinions which are not necessarily those of the company."
Translation: Post your bitchy allegations here, but if they're not true, you're the one getting sued.
