The first Monday after Basel some shop owners woke up feeling grateful that they let great street artists use their walls as canvases. The rest kicked the curb and cursed their graffiti tag-bombed storefronts.
There's no shortage of new paint on the walls around Wynwood, but many old standbys remain. From the fresh to the long-lasting, here are our ten favorites.

10. Zombie Hands
NW Second Avenue, close to 29th Street, south facing wall.
Post-apocalyptic biomechanical corpse hands with machine parts make like ET and have a powerful moment.
9. Secret with Bruce Lee character
East of the highway at 25th Street.
Miami graff veterano Secret has been holding the hordes of out of town painters off this wall for the 305 for years now, and keeping his themes fresh for the hundreds of thousands of daily drivers that pass it on the 95.
8. Lady's face on warehouse, Rone.
Between NW Second and North Miami Avenue.
The warehouse walls have eyes. Watch where you piss.
7. Ballerinas, Lister
Parking lot wall, NW Second Avenue close to 24th Street.
The artist described these as strip club ballerinas on drugs. We agree.
6. Snake wall
25th Street between NW Second Avenue and North Miami Avenue.
A giant snake and bird fly across a wall and collide head on with a burning tribal skull.
5. Native lady with corn
I-95 wall just east of the highway at NW 25th Street.
Native lady with cool hair chills with corn, likes acid, and anthropology.
4. Dolphin Marlin Wall, Dave L Designs
Between North Miami Avenue and NW First Avenue, close to 27th Street.
The dolphin's eye is made out of dolphin, and it's swimming segmented with its guts showing next to a marlin. Greatest sports-themed wall in Dade.
3. Cartoon Violence Wall
NW Third Avenue, close to 26th Street.
Bold colors, bursting pixels, coyote brains, and hammers. What more could you ask for?
2. Eye and Fly, Scott Debus
This won't be the first or last highly detailed eyeball you see painted on a shoe wholesaler, but the creepy fly and ugly veins might give you nightmares when you see this one.
1. Wireman, Dal
23rd Street, close to North Miami Avenue
Guy made of wires jumps off side of building, looks so real that everyday passing cars and bikes stop and wait for him to hit the ground.
