It's summertime in Miami, and everybody hates everything. The weather's either searingly humid or fun-cancelingly rainy. The Zimmerman verdict has most people rightly pissed off. The Marlins are a joke. Local weirdos keep doing crazy shit like stealing money from dying people and having sex with housepets. It's so bad, even Victoria Jackson packed up and left.

Couldn't you use a joke right about now?

Well hang on until September, when The Atlantic Ocean Comedy and Music Festival takes a handful of America's funniest comedians and lets them loose on a cruise ship departing from Miami.

Setting sail from the Port of Miami Sept. 13, the sailing comedy club will visit Nassau and Coco Cay in The Bahamas. And along the way, passengers can mix, mingle, and giggle 'til they wet themselves at comedians including The Daily Show veterans John Hodgman and Wyatt Cenac; Eugene Mirman, longtime beloved comic who's now the voice of Gene Belcher on Bob's Burgers; and comedy giant Marc Maron.

There'll also be music at the fest, including performances by John Darnielle of the Mountain Goats, Dan Deacon, Nellie McKay, and John Roderick. It all goes down on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas.

Tickets cost $690 to $790, depending on room category, and in addition to live performances, there'll be group activities like a trivia night and a shuffleboard contest.

Here's a complete list of comedians who'll be on board:

  • Kurt Braunohler
  • Rhea Butcher
  • Wyatt Cenac
  • Cameron Esposito
  • John Hodgman
  • Josie Long
  • Marc Maron
  • Eugene Mirman
  • Jonah Ray
  • Jasper Redd
  • Scott Simpson
  • Nick Thune
