Earlier this year, we broke the news that Miami Beach’s beloved Swim Week would be stripped of its main event, and fashion fiends and PR mavens all over Miami unanimously lost their shit. Throngs of Swim Week producers, presenters, and aficionados took to Twitter to declare that the Swim Week show would indeed go on: while the loss of the Mercedes Benz-sponsored main show was certainly a loss, it was by no means a catastrophe.

Even though you won't be watching from the big white tents at the Raleigh Hotel this year, you can still catch a first glimpse of 2016 Resort collections at similarly swank venues. And while it may be a little more difficult to get to all the shows on your Swim Week wish list, we're here to help you navigate the week's events. So don your best summer threads and hit the Beach for these can't miss Swim Week events.

Splashion 2015: Summer of Color at Fillmore Miami Beach
On Tuesday, MIAMI Magazine will kick-off Swim Week with its annual Splashion event, hosted by Miami's favorite tiny emcee, Yes Julz. In addition to runway looks by top international brands La Martina, Jantzen, and Laundry by Shelli Segal, there will be a special performance by American Idol alum Adam Lambert. Get your tickets at livenation.com.

Tuesday, July 14, at 8 p.m. at the Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach.

Peroni Emerging Designer Series at the SLS Hotel
Swim Week isn't just for established designers, and Peroni's got a history of lending a helping hand to hopeful couturiers. For the fourth consecutive year, Peroni will host its Emerging Designer Series, which features looks by 10 local designers eager to showcase their designs to the Swim Week public. Judged by local style gurus, the winner receives enough cash to produce a full runway collection, to be shown at Swim Week 2016. The show starts Friday at 9 p.m. RSVP via eventbrite.com.

Thursday, July 16, at 9 p.m. at SLS South Beach, 1701 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Free and open to the public.

Wildfox Night Swim at the Delano South Beach
Wildfox returns to the Delano this year for Wildfox Night Swim, where the playful, vintage-inspired swimwear line will debut its 2016 Resort Collection followed by a pool party under the stars. Arlette Carlin and Delano Resident DJ Legs Benedict will be on hand to keep the music fresh. RSVP directly with the Delano or visit their Facebook page for more info.

Friday, July 17, from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Delano, 1685 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

CFDA Fashion Incubator Presentation at the W South Beach
In partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers, W South Beach's exclusive runway show will feature looks by CFDA Fashion Incubator designers Misha Nonoo, Isa Tapia, and Deszo by Sara Beltran. The show is also the official launch of the summer capsule collection designed exclusively for the W's WET Deck Collection. If you're lucky enough to score an invite, don't miss your chance to catch this exciting presentation by CFDA's hottest upcoming designers.

Saturday, July 18, from 7 to 8 p.m. at W South Beach, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

Mara Hoffman Resort Swim 2016 at Casa Casuarina
Nothing says Miami Swim Week like Mara Hoffman, and she'll be presenting her Resort 2016 swimwear collection at an ultra-exclusive presentation. Tribal prints and brilliant color as fun and flirty as Mara Hoffman's signature swimwear deserves Miami's most ostentatious venue — none other than the (dearly departed) Versace mansion, Casa Casuarina. Call in that favor and get yourself in — this one's invite only.

Saturday, July 18, from 8 to 9 p.m. at Casa Casuarina 1116 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach.

Lazy Sunday BBQ: Swim Week Edition at The Standard Spa Miami Beach
The Standard partnered up with style insider the Coveteur to close down Swim Week with a chilled-out Sunday by the pool, with music by local femme Michelle Leshem and DJ Sean Drake. With plenty of barbecue and cocktails by Societe Perrier, it's time to stop caring it's bikini season and do Sunday right. RSVP to [email protected].

Sunday, July 19, from noon to 8 p.m. at the Standard Spa, 40 Island Ave., Miami Beach.

Style Saves Sunday Soiree Pop-Up Shop at SLS Hotel
Local non-profit organization Style Saves is hosting a Sunday Soiree pop-up shop at the SLS Hotel, where you can snag bikinis, beachwear, and sunnies by brands like Goet, Bungalow 33, and more. The best part about shopping your favorite Swim Week looks at the Sunday Soiree? Twenty percent of the proceeds will benefit underprivileged kids in need. Admission is free and open to the public.

Sunday, July 19, from noon to 6 p.m. at SLS South Beach, 1701 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.
