Reading is sexy. Books too. And authors. (Swoon.)

The Miami Book Fair International (MBFI) is around the corner and we have been diligently researching MBFI's sexiest offerings -- both on the page and off.

There's a noted rocker, true and sensuous tales of poets and artists and their muses, some Game of Thrones inspired erotica to stimulate your, ahem, mind during the eight day event, and more.

Let's take a look at MBFI's sexiest offerings this year:

Jenny Han
This Virginian cum Brooklynite children's book writer is a living, breathing fantasy. She's got the whole "sexy librarian" thing going on (she actually did work at a library). Throw that in a blender with her Asian beauty and peppy personality, and you've got fodder for many a sleepless night.

Check Han out on both Friday and Saturday (November 16 & 17). She'll be appearing in several panels discussing her book Burn for Burn.

The More I Owe You by Michael Sledge
"As their secrets unfold, the sensuous landscape of Rio de Janeiro, the rhythms of the samba and the bossa nova, and the political turmoil of 1950s Brazil envelop Bishop in a world she never expected to inhabit. The More I Owe You is a vivid portrait of two brilliant women whose love for one another pushes them to accomplish enduring works of art." How sexy is that?

Sledge discusses his debut work on Sunday, November 18.

Eric Erlandson
Former Hole guitarist and ex-husband of Drew Barrymore, Erlandson exudes a nonchalant, been there-done that vibe, and he's got great cheekbones and that whole androgynous, indie rocker thing going on. Plus, he was married to Drew Barrymore. That's almost a twofer!

Erlandson will be discussing his book, Letters to Kurt, on Saturday, November 17.

The Last Nude by Ellis Avery
Avery breathes life into history by recanting the affair between noted Art Deco painter Tamara de Lempicka and her young muse, Rafaela. The Booklist review says, "Against that brightly pigmented background, this artist-model lovers' tale is as subtle and seductive as the silk Rafaela 'listens to with her hands' as she designs a slip for her beloved, as stirring as Rafaela (whose survival depends on her beauty), radiant after her first experience of sex for pleasure, seeing Paris as 'a rose-windowed city,' and thinking, 'This always. Just this.'" Sounds good to us.

Avery reads from The Last Nude on Sunday, November 18.

Holy Toledo
Iconic couple Ruben and Isabel Toledo deliver a deliciously tempting trifecta. The two have jointly penned a memoir, Roots of Style: Weaving Together Life, Love, and Fashion. Each is an accomplished artist, Isabel a designer and Ruben an illustrator. And lastly, the couple exudes an urbane sexiness that can (and will) curl your toes.

The two will speak at the Freedom Tower this Sunday at 7 p.m.

As if MBFI hasn't delivered its share of sexy authors and novels this year, it has also created a sexy panel -- The State of Erotica -- taking place Saturday, November 17 at noon. Erotic elements in literature will be discussed by five authors, including:

Mitzi Szereto, editor of Thrones of Desire: Erotic Tales of Swords, Mist and Fire, an erotic anthology inspired by the "Games of Thrones" series.

Local author Carolina Garcia-Aguilera, whose last novel Magnolia involves a high-priced hooker who specializes in leading athletes.

The panel will be rounded out by novelist M.J. Rose, advice gurus Susie and Aretha Bright, and myself, editor of Girls Who Score: Hot Lesbian Erotica.

Who knew this year's MBFI would heat up this November?
