Inventing Kin from gold dickenson productions on Vimeo.
In last year's Best of Miami, Gold Dickenson Productions walked away with our coveted "Best Movie Shot on Location" award for Pencil Fighting: The Life and Times of Team Balderdash. Now the team is back with another locally shot film, Inventing Kin. It's the story of a girl from a family of inventors who has to reinvent her relationship with her long lost father. I know the way I phrased it makes it seem cheesy, but judging from the trailer (above) it is so not.
I've seen so many, possibly too many, low budget short films in my day, and this one stands out because a) the production value is amazing, it really is shot beautifully b) the acting is actually pretty good. But, what else would you expect from a "Best of" winner?
