Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union live an intensely public life that is about to get even more public. The Miami power couple will host and star in a new HGTV series based on their love of flipping houses. Air dates have yet to be released, but we do know the two will kick off their reality show by flipping homes in Florida.

According to the network, The Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade Project is something that should come naturally to the couple because it's already a hobby. "Actress Gabrielle Union and Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade are beginning a passion project — flipping homes," the release reads. "Follow along as they renovate, revitalize, and resell a home in a suburban Florida neighborhood."

Wade told the Sun Sentinel before the Heat's Wednesday game against the Lakers that the opportunity is a great fit because he and his wife are already avid viewers of the network.

"It's just our love for HGTV," he said. "We watch it all the time. We're big fans of all them guys. So we had an opportunity because of our passion of the show, and it went from there. It's something fun and something that we both are excited to take on this summer at some point. So it'll be cool."

According to Wade, he and Union haven't selected homes to flip yet but will be in the market for a project they can add their flair to.

"That's why we teamed up with HGTV. I mean, they're amazing at what they do. We also wanted to make sure that we pick a location in Florida that we can bring something to it, bring our style to it, bring what we've learned by traveling through life to it, as well."

Union has many credits to her name in TV and film, but this show be Wade's first real crack at the small screen. The actress currently stars in Being Mary Jane, BET's popular series that was renewed in January for a fourth season. Outside of the occasional cameo, appearances on talk shows, and of course NBA games, Wade doesn't have a history of speaking on camera. But that will all change with this HGTV project.
