Did you miss out on all the free Cock last week? Don't fret -- the South Florida Theater League is doing its best to pack theaters full for all the region's summertime performances. And if that means giving tickets away for free, so be it.

The league's Free Night of Theater promotion gives South Florida audiences the chance to win tickets to shows from GableStage to Actor's Playhouse to Mad Cat Theater Company.

Sorry, Cock lovers -- the promotion takes place after the Mike Bartlett play has ended its run in Coral Gables. But you'll be able to win tickets to GableStage's next production, Good People, as well as Actors' Playhouse's P is for Parenthood, Mad Cat Theatre's Blow Me, and The Sword Bride, the debut show for new Miami theater company Storycrafter Studios.

If you feel catching a show on the road, you can also luck into free tickets to shows in Broward and Palm Beach counties, including Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre's Spamalot, Lake Worth Playhouses' In the Heights, Maltz Jupiter Theatre's camp productions of Aladdin Jr and Little Shop of Horrors, Palm Beach Dramaworks' Dancing at Lughnasa, and Sol Children's Theatre's You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

Participants can enter by visiting summerfestfreenight.southfloridatheatre.com and filling out a short form -- name, address, phone number, and a quick survey of your experiences with South Florida performances. Does it suck to give up your personal information? Sure -- but not as much as it sucks to shell out cash for a cultural experience that could've been yours for free.

Your chance to win lasts from May 28 to June 7, when patrons have the chance to win up to three pairs of tickets to the shows above, for performances between June 12 and July 15. For performances between July 15 and August 15, you'll have to enter between June 24 and July 8.
