This is it -- the grand finale of 2014. Twenty fifteen is right around the corner, and perhaps this is the year you'll stick to your New Year's resolutions: lose those extra pounds, cut back on drinking, and save some pennies.

Or things might just slip back to 2014 standards by halfway through next week.

Either way, you'll try, and to help you on your quest toward self-improvement, here are a whole bunch of free things to do this week. So pack that piggy bank with the moolah you save.

Tuesday

  • Yoga in Peacock Park: Spend the last day of 2014 the right way -- doing downward dogs till your stress melts away.

Wednesday

  • Frozen in SoundScape Park: Singing along to the soundtrack that assaulted our ears all year long seems like an appropriate way to say so long to 2014.
  • New Year's Eve Fireworks on South Beach: Forget the $200 covers and champagne that only Kanye can afford; instead, ring in the new year on the sand.
  • New Year's Eve at Bayfront Park: Get your dance on with Funky Frank, and watch the Big Orange make its descent at midnight.
  • Thursday

  • First Thursday at PAMM: You said you want to get more culture this year, so why not spend New Year's Day gawking at the fruits of Miami's artistic renaissance?
