Hide yo' housewives, hide yo' kids. Miami is set to become a center of smutty, mediocre soft porn when the Fifty Shades of Grey movie begins filming right in the middle of downtown.

According to the West Australian, the Fifty Shades production crew has made a last-minute change to its filming schedule, opting to shoot scenes in downtown Miami rather than in its originally planned location of Vancouver, the city in which the book is set.

The reason? Weather, according to production spokespeople. Poor conditions up in Canada apparently put a real damper on all that, uh, "action." (Today, it's a foggy 37 degrees.)

Production company executives told the Australian that "the downtown Miami skyline looks a lot like downtown Vancouver." In that they're both on the water, we guess?

Many of the scenes will be exterior shots, the Australian reports, but stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will be in Miami for filming as well. The production is scheduled to shoot in downtown Miami for two weeks.

The Miami Film Office has not yet responded to calls or emails for comment or to provide further details of the production schedule. Maybe they're taking a cue from Christian Grey? You know how he loves to make you suffer.

Update: A MFO representative tells us they've had no information or permit application regarding a Fifty Shades movie filming downtown. Maybe they're going to be extra-naughty boys and girls and do it off the books.
