What do the Big Three and O, Miami have in common? Their love of dominant basketball.
Miami's literary and athletic worlds are headed for a collision course next Easter Sunday. Do your free throw reps, get that jumper wet, and prepare to have some good time on the hardwood. On April 20, the gauntlet will be thrown.

For a special sporty edition of poetry month, O, Miami and Borscht Film Festival are holding the Resurrection Basketball Tournament and Short Poetry Film Screening. Any local cultural organization can enter by choosing their three best ballers to represent them in a relaxed, co-ed tournament by a pool. According to O, Miami, the winner will receive the title of "Most Arbitrarily Cultural." This will be determined by a combination of points scored as well as who brings the best uniforms. Creativity is encouraged.
The more sedentary and basketball-wary patron can lounge around by the pool and take in various looped poetry films curated in collaboration by Borscht and O, Miami. Towels will not be provided, so make sure to bring your own. What better way to spend your Easter Sunday than to watch the best of Miami vie for the cultural title in the only way possible -- old fashioned roundball.
Go play April 20. Enter your squad here. It will last from 1 to 4 p.m. If you wear glasses, remember to attach your croakies or to bring goggles.
