You've probably already heard about the headliners planned for the 2016 edition of Miami Book Fair: Daily Show host Trevor Noah, actor Alan Cumming, food star Padma Lakshmi, and others. These are the subjects of the fair's "Evenings With" series, its most popular events featuring talks and readings with the famous personalities.

But they're not the only big names heading to Miami this November.

Among the hundreds of other authors, poets, and publishing pros on this year's agenda are poet, writer, and Transparent muse Eileen Myles; Jonathan and Drew Scott, AKA the twin stars of HGTV's Property Brothers; swimmer and Olympic gold medalist Anthony Ervin; transgender writer and activist Kate Bornstein; and fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.

Myles is a cult poet icon whose work is essential feminist reading. Over the course of a four-decade career, Myles has published more than 20 books of poetry, fiction, and criticism, but it wasn't until the second season of the Amazon series Transparent — which features a character based on Myles, lines of Myles' poetry written into the script, and a cameo by Myles herself — that the writer entered the mainstream. (Show creator Jill Soloway is Myles' girlfriend.) I Must Be Living Twice, a collection of new and selected poems by Myles, was released late last year.

Bornstein, an author, playwright, performance artist, and gender theorist, will make ideal companion reading to Myles in preparation for the fair. A transgender person who identifies as neither man nor woman, Bornstein creates works that encourage readers to reject the constraints of gender. The writer hosts workshops about gender all over the world and will appear at the fair to promote Gender Outlaw

Far at the other end of the spectrum are Property Brothers duo Jonathan and Drew Scott, whose playful banter and chiseled features have made them two of HGTV's most popular stars. The twins, specializing in real-estate sales and remodeling, are promoting their book Dream Home: The Property Brothers' Ultimate Guide to Finding and Fixing Your Perfect House.

You probably know Anthony Ervin best for being the other newsworthy American swimmer at the Rio Olympics. Ervin, a former world record-holder, won gold in Rio in the 4x100m free and 50m free races. He's also overcome incredible odds, surviving depression, homelessness, and addiction in the years between his record-breaking 2000 Olympic performance and his comeback in 2012. His book, Chasing Water, tells the story of those times.

Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger will appear at the book fair alongside his daughter — designer, producer, and actor Ally Hilfiger — whose book Bite Me details her struggle with Lyme disease.

The 2016 Miami Book Fair lineup also includes living literary legends such as novelist Joyce Carol Oates, The Giver author Lois Lowry, and 2015 Man Booker Prize winner Marlon James, author of A Brief History of Seven Killings. Pamela Paul, editor of the New York Times Book Review, and Maria Popova, founder of the eclectically intellectual blog Brain Pickings, will also visit the fair as panel leaders.

This year's book fair takes place November 13 through 20. Visit miamibookfair.com.
