Tyra Banks groupies and Giselle wannabes, start boning up on your catwalk strut.America's Next Top Model is looking for few runway hotties in South Florida, and for the first time ever, that includes dudes.
The reality TV standby, which has been on the air a whopping 10 years as of 2013, is making room for the weaker sex (men, of course) with their newest season. As the casting directors set up shop at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale this weekend, the burning question on the lips of all the cover girls (and boys) hopefuls is this: How the hell can I win, so my ensuing success can send me into a paparazzi-chased-cocaine-addicted-junk-flashing hot mess of a tailspin? Followed by rehab and a comeback, of course.

Lucky for you, Cultist is eager to see a South Floridian make it to the modeling big time, so we spoke to the show's casting directors and other insiders for some audition tips.
Basic requirements are as such: ages 18 to 27 of diverse backgrounds, shapes and sizes. The minimum height requirement for women is 5'7" and 5'10" for men. On occasion, they do pick people who don't match the standard specs, but it's rare, and at the producers' discretion.
"The best advice would be to come and be yourself. Speak up and show us your personality. Be creative with your answers so you can stand out in the crowd. Tell us something interesting about yourself that we cannot tell by looking at you," says Michelle Mock-Falcon, the show's casting director.
When it comes to decision time, a panel of industry experts will pick their local faves and recommend them to Mock-Falcon.
Felicia Raia Blanski, Creative Services Manager for SFL-TV added: "Be yourself, dress in something that will show off your figure without being too revealing, keep the make-up, jewelry, and hair simple and off your face."
Participants can also get a little help from their friends when viewers pick their favorite looker online from January 7 through 14. The local picks and viewers' choice will be revealed during the premiere of The Carrie Diaries on January 14 at 8 p.m. on SFL-TV.
"This is the first time we have opened up the casting call to men. Men from all over the country have continuously asked us to be a part of America's Next Top Model, so we decided to let them show us that they have what it takes to be on top," says Mock-Falcon.
Hear that, boys? Do a little turn on the catwalk and you could crack that glass ceiling.
The casting call will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at 1799 SE 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale.
