The average temperature in May was 82.5 degrees. That's a a fourth of a degree hotter than the previous record. Part of the reason might have been that rainfall was below average as the latest El Nino pattern dissipated. June rainfall is expected to be normal, by which we mean every afternoon practically on schedule.
