The Marlins have pretty much traded away every notable player on the roster not named Giancarlo Stanton, and it appears that Jeffrey Loria and his staff might be prepared to let the young slugger go, too. For the right price that is.

According to ESPN, it's well known that Stanton is pissed about the latest Marlins blow up, and a lot of teams have been inquiring about whether or not he might be up on the trading block as well. The Red Sox in particular seem to be daydreaming about Stanton in Boston.

Though, apparently as of right now the team plans to rebuild around the 23-year-old slugger, and aren't keen to let him go. That doesn't mean it's impossible.

ESPN says an unnamed club exec say they'd need three top prospects involved in any trade involving Stanton, which is a pretty steep price.
