It's Official: Lauderhill's "Copycat Cat Killer" was Dogs

The media maybe was a little too fast trying connect a few dead cats in Lauderhill to the now infamous Cat Killer down in the Bays of Cutler and Palmetto. When details of the Broward maulings came out, we kind of thought it was probably just wild dogs. Turns out it was.

Police say the seven stray cats found in west Broward met their fate at the paws of four wild dogs. Three black ones and a ginger.

The killings in Lauderhill were described as animalistic, while the ones in southern Miami-Dade seem to be chillingly the work of humans.
