It's a story of broken trust, backstabbing, and revenge. It's Charlie Crist's upcoming book.
Yes, Florida's most famous Republican turned Democrat is penning a tell-all book about his journey from "Ronald Reagan Republican" to Obama-hugging Democrat, and it's coming out this winter.

"In the book, I'll share my very strong feelings about what's happened to the Republicans, how the party I grew up in has been hijacked by extremists, losing its compassion and common sense. I'll describe exactly what I saw and what it made me realize. I have been a Democrat for seven months now. I have found a wonderful new home."

Crist is still widely expected to run for governor in 2014 as a Democrat, so the release of the book will come, coincidentally or not, just as the campaign begins in earnest.
As for what his former party has to say about the matter: "We didn't know that Charlie Crist was launching a new career as a fiction writer," Florida GOP chair Lenny Curry told the Buzz.
