Alanis Morissette Argument Leads to Domestic Violence Arrest in Florida

Not to stereotype, but it's not exactly news that some gay men take their female singers very, very seriously. Try and tell a Beyonce fan that Christina Aguilera is a better singer at your own risk, OK?

So up in Jacksonville, 24-year-old Allen Casey was booked into jail after he hit his boyfriend in the face with a plate because he wouldn't stop listening to Alanis Morissette.

According to News4Jax

, Casey couldn't stand 33-year-old Todd Fletcher's obsession with Alanis.

"That's all that (expletive) listens to," Casey said according to a police report.

It must have been frustrating for him having to listen to all that Alanis Morissette. It must have been like having 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife. Like a free ride, when you've already paid. Not really ironic, but, yes, certainly frustrating.

So Casey allegedly grabbed a plate and hit Fletcher in the face. The incident left a large cut, police say.

A neighbor heard the fighting, and saw Casey hit Fletcher in the face. She called police, and Fletcher eventually admitted to the crime and was charged with a count of domestic violence.
