The Herd has finally landed on the beaches of Virginia Key.

It's been over two decades since Donna the Buffalo's Tara Nevins and Jeb Puryear "led a mass gathering of its friends, fellow bands, and followers -- nicknamed The Herd -- to Ithaca, New York, for the inaugural Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival."

But today, they're launching a Grassroots spinoff in South Florida. It's all about "bluegrass, Cajun, zydeco, blues, reggae, and all that sort of stuff."

The music begins at dusk. See the cut for the Virginia Key Grassroots Festival's set times.
