Are you still alive? Yes? Good. Because there are still six more days of partying. God help your liver.

Today marks the official start of Miami Music Week (AKA Ultra Week), so that means big parties from here on out. Still, if you are looking for something a bit more underground, head for Downtown Miami venues like The Vagabond, Mamushka's, Villa 221, Electric Pickle, Bardot, and Grand Central. These party spots will offer safe haven from the South Beach spring break chaos. Although, to count out the Beach completely would be a mistake, especially for daytime events.

Anyway, let's turn up the bass, because here is what you are going to want to check out today.

Future Classics. With Paul Oakenfold, Nadia Ali, Ultra Naté, Tony Humphries, Studio Apartment, and more. National Hotel, 1677 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. Doors at noon. Tickets $45. Visit oakenfoldtickets.com. Oakenfold brings his Planet Perfecto mantra to the National pool while you get drunk in your swimsuit. It's a win-win if you ask us.

Gotta Dance Dirty WMC Showcase. With Maxxi Soundsystem, Cassian, Finger Prince, Plastic Plates, Mickey, and more. Bardot, 3456 N Miami Avenue, Miami. Doors at 9 p.m. Tickets $10 at eventbrite.com. Forget the mega-clubs, and slide into the cozy environs at Bardot where tonight music blog Gotta Dance Dirty hosts its music showcase with Maxxi Soundsystem and Cassian. Hipster hookup potential is high.

Air London Presents A Night in the Air. With Burnski, Elon, Gavin Herlihy, Geddes, Jaen Paniagua, Jordan Peak and more. Electric Pickle, 2826 N Miami Avenue, Miami. Doors at 10 p.m. Tickets $20 at residentadvisor.net. Sean Levisman said it best when he said "Brits rule electronic dance music," and near the top of the pack is Air London. One the best underground techno parties this week.

Dim Mak Miami Showcase. With Steve Aoki, Datsik, Joachim Garraud, Felix Cartal, Nervo, John Dahlback, and more. Mansion, 1235 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach. Doors at 10 p.m. Tickets $50 at wantickets.com. Bring a t-shirt you don't mind get champagne on because when Aoki hits the stage you will get sprayed.

Benny Benassi and Friends. With Martin Solveig, Congorock, and Harvard Bass. LIV, 4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. Doors at 11 p.m. Tickets $125 at wantickets.com. We know, so commercial, but we have a soft spot for Benassi, and is it so wrong that we really, really like Solveig's "Hello"?
