Oh, to be a budding DJ in the Magic City. Clawing your way to the top isn’t always easy. You sometimes have to sacrifice personal taste and talent in order to get a decent living wage. And then you get stuck playing second fiddle to visiting acts and DJs, relegating your spot to the always-dead first slot of the night.
We’re sure Josh LeCash can relate. The 24 year old’s career has gained momentum the last few years. But as proven by the DJ’s new video project documenting his afterdark misadventures, he still has nightmares about playing to an empty room.
Anyway, the video was filmed during Sleigh Bells’ appearance at Grand Central a few weeks ago. So in addition to DJ antics, there is also a glimpse of the band’s performance. If you like it, we’ll tell LeCash to keep the videos coming.
