Cover costs $8.Having freshly celebrated the 100th year anniversary of hosting live music, this Brickell institution thought it was time to start a new comedy night. From 8 to 9:30 p.m., there will be a smattering of solo performers, some group skits, and all-you-can-eat barbecue for $15. Warm up with some ribs and some yuks. And then black out once the music starts blaring from Brickell's most legendary stage.

This dark-n-spooky synthesizer-obsessed monthly party is quickly becoming a South Florida underground music institution. Where else are you gonna hear "Post-Hiss-Punk, TaiwaneseWave, DarkDisko, and Maximal Vintage Electronics"? Oh, and December's edition will feature a "taint shivering" performance by post-punkers Möthersky.



FREE PUNK SHOW With Swamp Witch, Grit, Terrorist, Ounce, and Shit Luck. Saturday, December 1, 10 p.m. EVE, 1306 N. Miami Ave., Miami. Free! There have been an influx of hardcore shows at the party palace known simply at EVE. Maybe the punks are putting down the Olde English and getting into fruity mixed drinks?
