Y'all hear about the plan to move Halloween from October 31 to the last Saturday of the month? According to Connecticut State Representative Tim Larson, "Everyone looks forward to Halloween a little more when it falls on the weekend."

Unfortunately for us, Halloween falls on a Monday this year. But fear not, there's still plenty neat shit to do under $10. Best of all, you can wear that silly costume you call a wardrobe and look perfectly normal.

Thriller. Friday, October 28, 6 p.m., Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave., Miami. $5. Per usual, Happy Hour at Tobacco Road rocks. Add a $100 costume contest and live, local music ... It's epic.





Scary Rock Star Costume Contest. Friday, October 28, 7 p.m., Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, One Seminole Way, Hollywood. Free. Anyone ever say you look like that dude from that band? Or ladies, do you have a meat dress hanging 'round your closet? If you answered, "Yes!," you should totally enter this contest.





Tricks and Treats Wallcast Concert. Friday, October 28, 7:30 p.m., New World Center, 500 17th St., Miami Beach. Free. Tickets for the Tricks and Treats start at $65 bucks. But it's free to sit outside and enjoy the New World Symphony on a killer outdoor screen.



Bass + Titties: Friday, October 28 at 9 p.m., Pink Pony (7971 NW 33 St, Doral). Free. Face down, ass up, that's the we like to celebrate Halloween.

Arboles Libres Presents. Friday, October 28, 9 p.m., Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE Second Ave, Miami. $7. Miami group Arboles Libres has teamed up with Sailor Jerry to bring you a gnarly night of tuneage at everyone's favorite bar. Tons of bands playing. So show up early.



A Tribute to Guns N' Roses. Saturday, October 29, 10 p.m., Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave., Miami. $5. Can't make it to see the real GNR at the AAA? No worries, the intimate, Tobacco Road version's probably better.



Rose Max. Saturday, October 29, 9 p.m., Upstairs at the Van Dyke, 846 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach. $7. Get Brazilian with it at the Van Dyke and catch some samba, fool.





Funkette. Saturday, October 29, 10 p.m., Bougainvillea's, 7271 SW 58 St., South Miami. Free. Party like a UM frat star with SoFla's best cover band at one of The U's favorite spots.



Motown Brunch. Sunday, October 30, 10 a.m., Lester's Miami, 2519 NW Second Avenue, Miami. $10. Motown and breakfast -- life doesn't get any better. Cure your Saturday night hangover the right way.



Billionween Bash. Sunday, October 30, 10 p.m., SoBe Live, 1203 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. Ladies are free. Rapper Iceberg Billion swags his shit on South Beach this weekend. See you there.
