This week I'm just gonna shoot off at the mouth. I want to talk about loyalty. And I don't mean this to sound like bitching or complaining -- I'm just talking about a topic that's very important to me. I just feel that my whole life, I've always tried to see the brighter side of things and tried to look at people in a different light, just trying to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. But when it comes down to it, you can only trust as many as you can count on one hand. That's your closest friends and your family.
I consider myself a lucky man. I know a lot of cool people. And basically what it comes down to is you only know how much somebody truly will stand by you and truly does give a shit about you, when they 're willing to really put themselves out there a little bit. The thing that sucks is that a guy like me, I trust more than I should. When it comes down to it, I really can't trust any one. I don't mean for this to sound like a sob story -- we all made our beds and we all have to lie in them.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that we all have very little time in this world, so just make the best of it while you're here. And the ones that are close to you, hold them close and never let them go. Everybody you love, just tell them you love them, and have no qualms about it. Who gives a shit what people think about you? It's about what you think about yourself, and hold onto that. Don't be afraid to tell people how you feel. We came into this world by ourselves and we leave by ourselves. We don't take anything with us.
