Oh, Mamas and the Papas, we couldn't agree with you more.

We know we "can't trust that day," but at least the thought of Stone Temple Pilots, Yo Gotti, Ookay, and other musicians of the ilk will put us at ease and help us get through this godforsaken day.

Here are the five best concerts going down in South Florida this week.

Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington. Tuesday, September 17, 7:30 p.m., BB&T Center, One Panther Pkwy., Sunrise; 954-835-8000; thebbtcenter.com. Tickets cost $45.75 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. The feud between Stone Temple Pilots and Scott Weiland has been an ongoing dilemma ever since the group parted ways in 2002. Fast forward a brief reunion tour, the release of STP's self-titled sixth studio album, a "short break," some drama involving the ousting and replacement of Weiland, and bam: you've got the Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington.

Fun. With Tegan and Sara. Wednesday, September 18, 8 p.m., Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton; 561-544-8600; mizneramphitheater.com. Tickets cost $39.50 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. "Tonight, [you] are young." And Fun.'s gonna "set the world on fire" with their indie pop vibes. You'll just have to "Carry On" with the 50 minute drive north to see Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost, and Jack Antonoff "burn brighter than the sun."

Yo Gotti. With Y.G., Ca$h Out, and Zed Zilla. Thursday, September 19, 7 p.m., Revolution Live, 100 SW 3rd Ave., Fort Lauderdale; 954-449-1025; jointherevolution.com. Tickets cost $25 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. You better get yo' shit together and "Act Right" 'cause Yo Gotti's gonna have "them bottles on replay" and "break a record like a DJ."

Ookay. Full Tilt tour with Kennedy Jones, Bare, and Mayhem. Friday, September 20, 10 p.m., Grand Central, 697 North Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $22.50 plus fees via ticketfly.com. "As far back as [Ookay] can remember, he always wanted to be a gangster." So he's taking us to "Trap City" where he'll be dropping that bass like a grenade.

Travie McCoy. With the Melker Project, Tim William, and Ax. Saturday, September 21, 10 p.m., Grand Central, 697 North Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $25 plus fees via ticketfly.com. Warning: "Rough Waters" ahead. So "hold tight" to Travie McCoy and "never let go." After all, the Gym Class Heroes front man will "never let [us] drown."
