Irony alert!

Back in 2010, Kat Von D was rumored to have ruined the marriage between reality TV motorcyclist Jessie James and America's middle-aged sweetheart Sandra Bullock when she let the mustachioed muscle-bound dude touch her titties. And now she's breaking off her engagement with Deadmau5, tweeting: "Cheating on your loved one is the most hurtful thing one could do."

Oh, Kat Von D, looks like karma might've got the better of you.

First of all, Kitty Kat, why did you ever get involved with a DJ? If years in the entertainment business should've shown you anything, it's that DJs and other famous dudes think with their dicks and are really good at coming up with excuses. You just should have known better. But alas, you have been wronged and found woe.

Woe is you, foolhardy prisoner of love.

But what did you expect from a guy who constantly talks shit, then runs back to the people he made fun of the moment that they wave a check in his face?

Meanwhile, Deadmau5 got on his Facebook and wrote his own side of the story.

Kat and I split in November and I moved back home to Toronto. During this time, while we were broken up, I did have relations with another woman. Following that, Kat and I reconciled and I acknowledged being intimate with another person while we were estranged.

We did move past those issues and I proposed to Kat in mid- December. At the end of June, it was clear that the relationship was not working and we mutually ended the engagement. I was not, at any point, unfaithful to Kat during our time together.

I don't wish to go tit for tat with these kinds of pronouncements and don't expect to comment further, but I do believe that those who have expressed concern deserve a more complete understanding of what transpired.

Guess we've seen how formidable an engagement forged on social media can be. Is any love really real? Here's to hoping Deadmau5 lets this rotten love fuel him to make his best album ever.
