Support the independent voice of Miami and help keep the future of New Times free.

Today is the day Italian electro outfit,

the Bloody Beetroots, kick off the North American leg of its Death Crew 77 tour.

Unfortunately, tonight's show at

won't be a live performance, just a DJ set warmup. However, Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea were arguably DJs before this whole live show concept ever came to fruition, so you shouldn't be completed disappointed.

Anyway, as a quick primer, we give you the Beetroots' latest offering, a remix of the Chemical Brothers track "Dissolve."

What happens when big beat meets electro-house? Not surprisingly, the results are dangerously danceable. It starts with a harpsicord-laden intro that quickly gives way to more traditional electro screeches and peaks.
