Avicii has been rushed to the hospital.
Tonight, the Swedish EDM superstar was scheduled to play the Ushuaia Ibiza stage at the SLS South Beach as part of his Avicii Hotel takeover.
But as a member of his team tells Crossfade: “He did get sick this afternoon. His buddy Alesso came to sub for him.”
UPDATE Avicii has cancelled his appearance at Ultra Music Festival. Deadmau5 has stepped in as headliner.

Just this afternoon, it seems Avicii was tweeting as usual, hyping his arrival in Miami. By this evening, though, he’d fallen ill.
At the moment, there is no word on whether it is a serious illness. And his rep explains that there will be no further details on his condition until morning.
So currently, Avicii remains scheduled to headline the main stage at Ultra Music Festival.
