Although we love to complain about the sticky Miami summer, there's one thing that helps us overcome the pain: pool parties. And alcohol. Fine, two things.

And if you haven't experienced the Confidante's weekly pool party, Frankie Says, then now is you chance.

Hosted by Wynwood's Electric Pickle and Klangbox FM, this Saturday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. you have the chance to order some cocktails (and a bite) by the pool while you dance to sounds provided by Will Renuart and Arremer Jack. The Confidante's weekly shindig is a far cry from the hectic hedonism of other Miami Beach pool spots — like Hyde Beach — opting instead for some far chiller vibes. So, don't come expecting to fist pump.

Klangbox, which recently made our roundup of the city's best local radio stations, specializes in electronic music and has helped select two stellar locals for this Saturday, Renuart and Jack.

The concert is — as mentioned in the headline that probably made you click on this in the first place — free. Patrons are encouraged to RSVP via eventbrite.com, though, to ensure smooth entry.

Frankie Says. 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at the Confidante, 4041 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-424-1234; theconfidante.unbound.hyatt.com. Admission is free; RSVP via eventbrite.com.
