The blistering roads of Florida got even hotter this week, from the depths of Carol City all the way up to Orlando. After Pompano Beach’s Kodak Black dropped off his highly anticipated mixtape Lil Big Pac last week, Miami-Dade County kingpin Rick Ross and other rising Florida rappers like Palm Beach spitter Wifisfuneral, Pouya, and Talib Kweli's signee, NIKO IS, dropped off fire tracks of their own.

Ross teased the masses with his brand new solo effort, “Same Hoes.” Meanwhile, Pouya blessed the internet with two new records, including a special birthday shout out to his boy Germ. Take a listen to more new music from South Florida’s finest emcees below.

5. Wifisfuneral, “Come Hell Or High Water”

Palm Beach spitter Wifisfuneral provides us with a fresh, melodic update on his life. Not long after dropping his new mixtape, Black Heart Revenge, Wifi unveils his newest record from his stash, “Come Hell or High Water.” In the brief track, the 18-year-old rapper revels in his joy about releasing his latest body of work over a mellow tune produced by HLTR$KLTR & Diablo.

4. NIKO IS, “Blanka”

Orlando’s NIKO IS returns with his latest single, “Blanka.” The budding rapper of Brazilian descent shouts out his Javotti Media boss, Talib Kweli, and the late Muhammad Ali with smug bars over a piano-based instrumental crafted by JONWAYNE. Vibe out as NIKO IS paints a colorful image of his inner thoughts in “Blanka.”

3. Pouya, “Energy 2”

Weeks after dropping off his highly praised project Underground Underdog, Pouya strikes back with a second dose of bass-filled “Energy” in his song produced by Chevali & Diego Farias. Pouya also dropped off a special birthday dedication to his boy Germ, who will be joining the Miami rapper on the upcoming Underground Underdog tour.

2. Rick Ross, “Same Hoes”

Rick Ross is preparing to release Maybach Music Group’s upcoming compilation project, Self Made 4. After dropping off his collaborative record with Meek Mill and Wale (“Make It Work”) last week, Yung Renzel returns with his solo track “Same Hoes,” in which he boasts about bagging the same girls as Pusha T, T.I., and music mogul Russell Simmons.

1. Prez P & Big Nics, “Who Got It”

South Florida's rising emcees Prez P and Big Nics drop off the first single from their upcoming collaborative EP, Too Player Mode. The Three Six Mafia-inspired "Who Got It" comes complete with smooth bars from both lyricists and mesmerizing production from ShowOff Beats. Although Prez and Nics plan to drop solo albums later this year (Prezidential & Mr.RideLowMane, respectively), the Florida-based duo is preparing to release its joint EP by the end of the summer.
