- Viceroy's Tax Break Party at the Viceroy: Viceroy Miami is handing out tax breaks in the form of Arnold Palmer drinks and minigolf at its Fifty Ultra Lounge. Revelers can kick back and sip cocktails while enjoying a 50-story-high rooftop view of the Magic City.
- Cabaret at Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts: The musical tells the story of a young English cabaret performer and her dalliances with an American writer at the Kit Kat Klub in Berlin. The stage show was made famous by Liza Minnelli in the 1972 movie adaption.
- Roy Assaf Trio at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center: The Roy Assaf Trio seamlessly weaves a web of melodies through improvised interludes that
take audiences on a journey they will never forget. The trio's music blends the great lineage of jazz with folkloric music from around the world. - Barrage 8 at Aventura Arts & Cultural Center: If you’re sick of the same old sounds (because most of us have had enough of EDM and Pitbull), Barrage 8 is an entirely new musical experience. The ensemble combines old-school instruments with new-school performance style. The number “8” in the project’s name is a reference to its instruments: four violins, two violas, a cello, and a double bass.
- Record Store Day at Sweat Records: Music fans will be treated to the store’s extensive collection as well as a performance next door at famous punk-rock pub Churchill’s. Local performers include Party Flag, Eons, and Bleaubird, topped off by Seattle headliner Shabazz Palaces. The show is free for all ages. Parking is limited. Ms. Cheezious and Rolling Stove will offer bites.
- Teatro Cinema at Colony Theatre: Known for its literal (and figurative) use of smoke and mirrors, Teatro Cinema has earned a reputation for creating illusions that expand the range of the physical theater. In particular, Saturday night’s performance of Historia de Amor — the final piece in a trilogy based on a graphic novel by French author Régis Jauffret — features a range of special effects.
- Ghost Tours at Gold Coast Railroad Museum: Halloween is months away, but the Gold Coast Railroad Museum and Haunted South Florida have teamed up for some spooky springtime activities. Instead of your normal October haunted hayrides, the two organizations present Ghost Tours on the rails. The event will show off the museum’s collection of passenger cars, freight cars, and locomotives.
- A Night With Keith Johns at the Wynwood Yard: Escape the nervous bustle of the city and relax to the sounds of local folk singer-songwriter Keith Johns at the Wynwood Yard.
- Autism and Music at Wynwood Café: In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Autism and Music will host its monthly hangout today, Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m. Families, volunteers, musicians, supporters, and everyone who wants to raise awareness with a smile is welcome. Visit autismandmusic.org.

- Leonid Egorov at Aventura Arts & Cultural Center: In the creative process of improvisation, pianist Leonid Egorov is fully receptive to new experiences. He integrates within himself these moments and then releases them through sound.
