Free Events This Week in Miami: Miami Soul Train, Cabo Flats, and Free Yoga

Happy Monday, Miamians. This week brings a plethora of events, including happy hour, yoga, art walks, museum admissions, and the return of Miami Soul Train. The best part? It's all free.

  • Adrienne Arsht Center Farmers' Market: Start your week on a fresh note with Florida-grown produce and prepared foods at the Arsht Center's weekly market.
  • Shadows of HomeExperience a concert where music and poetry combine to tell the stories of those who have experienced exile or imprisonment in their homeland during political and social turmoil.
  • An Evening With Brendan O'Hara: Miami native Brendan O'Hara will take over the Regent Cocktail Club for a laid-back, singer/songwriter kind of evening.
  • Lowe Art Museum: It's the first Tuesday of the month, meaning the Lowe offers free admission all day.
  • The Miami Soul Train: Forego a fancy South Beach club for a night of funky tunes aboard the Miami Soul Train, courtesy of Miami-Dade Public Transit. Arrive early because headphones and Metromover entrance are first come, first serve.
  • "Aesthetics & Values": Get in-the-know about Miami’s art-world up-and-comers at FIU's annual student-run exhibition. A featured guest is New Times 2016 MasterMind winner Magnus Sodamin.
  • Yoga: Celebrate hump day with a little namaste at a free midday yoga session at Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
  • Cubaocho Happy Hour With Dr. Paul George: Fuse history and happy hour with HistoryMiami historian Paul George.
  • Cabo Flats Grand-Opening Party: Celebrate with Cabo Flats during its grand-opening party at its new Dolphin Mall location. Expect complimentary food and drinks.
  • Free First Thursdays: Pérez Art Museum Miami is free every Thursday, with extended hours until 9 p.m., giving you every reason to sneak out of work for an evening of art and culture.
  • Metal Meets Wood: Grab a beer with a few vintage-motorcycle enthusiasts at Metal305’s Motorcycle night.
