South Beach Five Guys Staff Caught on Video Beating Woman

A video of a woman facing off against numerous workers at the Five Guys Burgers & Fries restaurant on South Beach's Washington Avenue has gone viral with little information about what actually incited the brawl.

The video opens with an employee throwing what appears to be a stack of cups from behind the counter at a woman in a tight black outfit. Other Five Guys employees emerge from behind the counter and confront the woman, with one employee repeatedly hitting the woman and pulling her hair. Other employees join in the melee and eventually pull the woman's wig off.

What appears to be a security guard steps in and tries to break up the fight.

The victim eventually walks out with wig in hand to shouts of "World Star."

The restaurant certainly seems to be the South Beach location. The store is located near the heart of Miami Beach's nightclub district and is open daily until 4 a.m. The fact that a couple of customers in the background can be seen in costume suggests it was taken over the Halloween weekend.

Yet the Miami Beach Police Department confirms it didn't receive any reports of the fight until the video went viral.

A phone call to the restaurant this morning went unanswered, but a corporate spokesperson spoke to NBC Miami.

"The actions displayed in the video are simply unacceptable," the spokesperson told the station. "We are working with the franchise owner to do a full investigation and ensure appropriate disciplinary actions are taken. "

The video has now been viewed nearly 300,000 times on Facebook.
