On the day when Miami-Dade commissioners discuss instituting fines instead of arrests for minor pot possession offenses, one of Miami's most famous stoners has been arrested on marijuana charges in Georgia.

According to WSB-TV, a police officer in Fayetteville County, Georgia, originally pulled over a Bentley Ross was in for having a window tint that was too dark, but when Ross opened the door, the officer was immediately hit with a strong and familiar stench of marijuana. The officer then searched the car and found weed in the car.

Ross was taken to Fayetteville County Jail where he is currently being processed.

Though Ross's original backstory as a high-powered drug kingpin may be the stuff of his fiction, his history involving legal trouble due to marijuana possession is nothing new. He was arrested in 2008 on Miami Beach for pot possession. In 2011, the stench of pot also got Ross in trouble in Shreveport, Louisiana. Pot was sniffed coming from his hotel room, and he was again arrested on possession charges.

Of course, finding marijuana in Ross's possession is sort of like shooting fish in a barrel. His affinity for the green stuff is well known. This, for example, was the image he posted on his Instagram on April 20th.
