Miami's Best Eats and Drinks This Weekend: WMC, Typsy Mermaid, and Florida Derby

So much to do this weekend, it's nearly mind-boggling. If you're heading to WMC, be sure to check out our list of places to get some bites between sets and parties. Also happening around town is the Miami Open, the Florida Derby, and even a bit of chillaxing.

Weekend starts now!

The Typsy Mermaid Pops Up in Coconut Grove
For those of us not trying to get to the beach this weekend, Coconut Grove's pop-up, The Typsy Mermaid offers a bit of under-the-sea delights. We're not sure if that more famous mermaid, Ariel, would approve of us slurping down dozens of her oyster friends, this, um, tipsier mermaid invites us to enjoy oysters, beers, and champagne. Because mermaids love bubbles. The Typsy Mermaid pops-up at Lasso the Moon (3415 Main Hwy.) tonight, March 27 from 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 28, from 4 to 8 p.m.; and Sunday March 29, from noon -to8 p.m.
