El Rincon Del Coqui is named after Puerto Rico's teeny indigenous frogs. Like the amphibian, this rolling eatery is uniquely of the island. The orange truck (complete with froggy logo) serves up traditional antojitos (tapas) and sandwiches, including churrasco, pollo, lechon, carne. Healthy eaters can also order the dupleta or tripleta (double or triple meat). Homemade flan is also served. Catch El Rincon this evening at Mother of Christ Church way out west in Tamiami.

In unrelated news, Mars at Montaco has confirmed that she is driving the truck to New York for the summer after this weekend. Saturday will be the last day for Miamians to experience Montaco's fresh and healthy (yes healthy!) tacos. We all knew this day would come. After all, Montaco stands for Montauk, where this little purple truck is heading to serve tacos to New Yorkers escaping the city's opressive summer heat.

Montaco's time in Miami included partnering with Andrew Zimmern for "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Mars and her truck will be missed.
