It might seem off-the-wall to say that Kendall's Off the Grille is an upscale, healthful fast-food eatery in a traffic-choked shopping mall. After all, everything costs less than $10.

But if you've eaten at OTG (as the regulars like to call it), it doesn't sound that far-fetched.

This sleek little place proves that good-tasting and good-for-you are not morons of the oxy variety, whether you're grabbing a daily lunch or dinner of burgers or juicy marinated pork.

The steak fajita wrap -- a whole-wheat tortilla stuffed with tender chunks of smoky grilled sirloin and bulked up with sautéed onions, roasted peppers, and chipolte fajita sauce ($7.48) -- delivers all the flavor without adding a muffin top to your waistline.

Another tasty surprise is the fried yuca ($1.07), hot and crisp on the outside and delightfully creamy on the inside. Massive leafy salads come in bistro, teriyaki, Mediterranean, and curry styles (like many of their wraps) and are accompanied with choice of chicken, shrimp, or fish.

Believe us, everything here is good enough to make Ronald McDonald gag on his Big Mac. Oh, and if the sesame-crusted tuna or churrasco is a special during your visit, order it.
