Time again to get sloshed on green beer. St. Patrick's Day is next Thursday, March 17 so don your best green outfit and head out to one of these Miami celebrations.

St. Patrick's Day Irish Festival
On Saturday, March 12 get a taste of Irish culture. The South Florida Emerald Society will host a festival in Coral Gables featuring traditional Irish food and drink plus crafts and music. Party starts at noon and goes until sunset. Admission is free. Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park, 2800 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables. 305-949-8400.

Brickell Irish Pub
With several Irish pubs in Brickell, it seems like the area will become one big street party. Brickell Irish Pub is hosting its 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Street Party with six live bands, a DJ, barbecue and beer. Party starts at 5 p.m. 1451 South Miami Avenue, Miami; 305-381-6651.

Clarke's Miami Beach
Start your day with shots of Bushmill's and Bailey's ($2 from 9-11 a.m.) or Guiness ($3) paired with a hearty Irish breakfast of sausage, bacon, eggs, beans and toast or Irish toast topped with Bushmill's honey and maple syrup. From 11 a.m. to midnight, enjoy a special menu of bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage and shepherd's pie. 840 1st Street, Miami Beach; 305-538-9885.

Democratic Republic of Beer
$5 Shepherd's Pie all day, plus half-off Guinness, Harp, Magners and Smithwicks. 255 NE 14th Street, Miami; 305-372-4161.

Fado Irish Pub
This Irish newcomer is celebrating all week, making it a week of "savage craic" (pronounced crack and, according to them, an Irish expression that denotes having a good time out with friends). But the main event is on Thursday when the pub opens at 8 a.m. for breakfast and kicks off the live music at 11 a.m. The party spills into Mary Brickell Village's plaza with a U2 tribute show and Y100 broadcasting live. More info on the week's events here. 900 South Miami Avenue, Mary Brickell Village; 786-924-0972.

John Martin's St. Patrick's Day Street Party
Brace yourself for crowds at this well-known street party with live music, food and drinks. Did we say drinks? Beer abounds at this celebration and the music is good. It all starts at 5 p.m. along Salzedo Street and Aragon Avenue in Coral Gables. Don't miss the U2 Tribute show at 9 p.m. 305-445-3777.
