Dunkin' Donuts is opening a new restaurant in Kendall and infusing the menu with Latin flavor.

The grand opening of the new location, located at 13756 SW 56th Street, takes place today, Monday, July 22. Expect product samples, coupons, and maybe a free mug.

Thee will be free samples of Cafe con Leche and "Latin-inspired donuts" throughout the day.

Open from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily, and Monday through Sunday, the new location provides jobs to 15 locals, and features indoor seating, including booths, for 20 guests. You can also surf the web for free or enjoy programming in the large flat screen television.

"We look forward to becoming a popular destination with our seventh location in the Miami-area and another one that will open next month," said Marc Weinstein, Dunkin' Donuts franchisee. "We are proud to continue to serve the hard-working people of Miami with high-quality coffee, baked goods and snacks delivered fast in a friendly environment and at an affordable price."

If you're like us, you're wondering what the "Latin-inspired" treats are. The menu offers a Cuban sandwich, with roasted pork, Swiss cheese, black forest ham, and a "creamy Cuban spread" made with dijon and chopped dill pickle. The caveat for a fast, take-out Cuban sandwich? It's served on a French roll. Hispanic doughnuts include guava, pineapple, and dulce de leche flavors.
