Via Verdi Cucina Rustica is known for its unfussy, rustic, and delicious Italian cuisine featuring house-made pastas and sauces helmed by partner Nicola Carro.
Now, those same sauces and pastas, along with a selection of wines and other small batch, local items, will be available for home when La Bottega di Via Verdi opens.

The small shop is located next door to Via Verdi (which also means free parking) and will offer a curated of selection of items to take home to make a quick, affordable, and utterly Italian meal at home.
Partner Fabrizio Carro explains that La Bottega will cater to the thriving local community by providing a place where they can grab all the makings for dinner -- plus a bottle of wine. "If, say, you're going to a party, you can pick up everything you need here." In addition to house-made items like olives and salads, the shop will sell food items from local producers. Carro says he wants this bottega to be a place where independent food artisans can showcase their wares.
The shop is expected to open some time around the end of July. It will also host private dinners and intimate wine tastings.
In addition to La Bottega, Via Verdi is offering some good summer deals. On Mondays, the restaurant is offering 50 percent off food items from the all-day menu and half-priced wines by the bottle on Thursdays. In addition, the restaurant is offering a special three-course summer dinner. Priced at $39 per person, the menu will change weekly and will feature the favorite dishes of Fabrizio and Nicola Carro.
