Two Miami Burger Kings Targeted For Armed Robbery

Two Miami Burger Kings were targeted by an armed robber late last night, using the drive-thru windows as a point of entry.

According to CBS Miami, two different Burger Kings within three miles of each other were targeted for robbery.

Though the robberies seem identical, Miami police have not yet confirmed whether the same person was responsible for both robberies.

he first robbery, at the BK on the 1300 block of NW 20th Street, was

captured on the restaurant's surveillance camera, which shows a man

dressed all in black and wearing a red and white skull cap, hopping into

the Burger King through the drive through window. A gun is in his hands

as he grabs for the contents of the register then runs off.

A woman who was at the drive-thru with her children witnessed

the robbery. Though she wished to be unidentified, she did tell CBS

Miami that she heard the robber say "Give me all your money. Open the effen register."

A second Burger King a few miles away at NW 36th Street and 27th

Avenue was targeted in the same manner just a short time later.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
