In the latest nod to Miami's culinary achievements, Yardbird, Michael's Genuine, and Joe's Stone Crab have all made the Daily Meal's list of the top 101 restaurants in America. Bravo to some of our favorite foodie heroes.

The list describes Yardbird, #68, in McInnis's own words as "not your typical Miami concept." They give nods to the fried chicken, local greens, and bourbon-based drinks, and mention this year's purported expansion to Brooklyn.
Next up is Miami's iconic Joe's Stone Crab, at #70. They praise the stone crabs (duh), the hash browns, and the key lime pie.
And last, Michael's Genuine Food & Drink comes in at #82. Michael's gets props for its painstakingly sourced products.
The rest of the list is heavy on New York and Bay Area influences, with Thomas Keller's French Laundry coming in at #1. New York's Shake Shack and L.A.'s the Bazaar, which both have Miami outposts, also made the list.
According to the article, Daily Meal editors compiled a list of 150 restaurants based on their favorites. Then they "categorized selections, invited an illustrious panel of judges (mostly restaurant critics, food and lifestyle writers, and bloggers) from across America to help order the restaurants via an anonymous survey, then tallied results to assemble a ranked list."
