Justin Bieber was arrested this morning on charges of drag racing and failing a sobriety test, Miami Beach Police tell New Times this morning.
"Kid needs help," police spokesperson Bobby Hernandez says. Hernandez added that Bieber's entourage blocked traffic at Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street to create a "drag racing strip" so the pop star would have ample space to speed.

Upon arrest, Bieber wouldn't remove his hands from his pockets, and he might face charges of resisting arrest without violence, the Herald reports. Tests show he was under the influence of drugs.
"He showed symptoms of someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol," Hernandez said.

As of this morning, no charges have materialized against him in Miami-Dade Court, and a review of prison records shows he's not incarcerated. But Bieber is on his way to jail and booking, police say. Update: Bieber was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 10:36 a.m.

Hours before the drag racing, Bieber's buddy Khalil, who was also arrested, posted several photos to Instagram showing the "Miami nights ridin.
"U know bizzle brought that lambo out ♛," Khalil posted.

The arrest culminates a wild Miami week for Justin Bieber. First, he blew $75,000 at King of Diamonds on strippers. He arrived at the establishment at 4 a.m., according to the club's Twitter feed, and ordered a giant stack of one-dollar bills -- $75,000 to be precise.
Then, yesterday, he spurred an internal investigation within the Opa-locka Police Department into why two or more of its officers -- possibly on duty -- escorted Bieber and his Beliebers from the town's airport to some parties and clubs. "We know it was an unauthorized detail," Assistant City Manager David Chiverton told the Herald.
And now this.
NBC 6 traffic reporter Kelly Blanco reported that Bieber was driving a yellow Lamborghini -- because of course -- when he was busted.
