Notorious NBA bad boy Dennis Rodman hosted a Halloween soiree, Rodmania, Friday night at Gulfstream Park. The racing and casino hotspot welcomed the outspoken star whose creative juices seemed to be running dry. Rodman showed up in drag as a “woman” and partied from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. with South Beach tastemaker Elaine Lancaster, adult film star Mary Carey and Miami Heat swingman Ricky Davis, among many others. DJ Irie was there to spin beats and prizes were awarded for sexiest costume (Raggedy Ann) and most creative costume (an aquarium). Rodman was also in Pompano last week launching The High Heels Poker Tour, a ladies-only league, where he fit right in and played a few hands at the Texas Hold ‘Em tourney. Looks like Rodman is sparking a new trend, possibly looking for new ways the kook can blow his baller dollars?

Sexy Ciara hit the beach this past week to celebrate Halloween and her 22nd birthday Monday at Cameo. The songstress sported an extra-special, extra-long, multi-toned birthday weave along with a hot black dress, not indulging in the dress up trend of Hallow’s Eve. The multi-million dollar R&B princess left the drama at home for the evening, heading out with an entourage so small, you could count her company on one hand. The starlet 1, 2 stepped into the club at about 1:30 a.m. where she enjoyed a rumored “complimentary” bar tab (tip not included). The dancing diva was all smiles on the floor and partied until around 3:15 a.m. before heading out.

Trantastic Amanda Lepore along with designer Richie Rich came out for the Heatherette Halloween party Wednesday night at the Hotel Victor. Arriving fashionably late, Rich was outfitted in 1920s flapper gear while Lepore sported an evil black veil with her signature “F Me Red” lips. The chic twosome posed for plenty of pics with fans, two of which were attired as the duo. They sipped on champagne and Motley Bird, sure to keep the evening flowing fabulously until their departure at 2 a.m.

Miami Live at Santo hosted an “Off The Chain-Saw” Halloween celebration Wednesday night that raked in emcee Ja Rule for an evening of hip-hop delight, which also drew in Heat nemeses from the Detroit Pistons, Rasheed Wallace and Chauncey Billups, in town to face the Heat in the first game of the ’07-’08 season. Other rap VIPs in attendance included Capone-N-NORE, David Mays of the The Source magazine and CEO of Miami-based Slip-N-Slide Records, Ted Lucas, who received a lifetime achievement award (even though the company has only been around for a little more than a decade). Luring the spotlight back, Ja Rule turned out a spontaneous performance for the crowd followed by a cameo from Piccalo boasting hit single, “Stick N Roll.” The windy weather did keep one star from jetting down for the party. VH1’s newest reality personality, Irv Gotti (Gotti’s Way) opted not to fly in to co-host the festivities due to Tropical Storm Noel – the hurricane season’s largest fluke to date. -- Tracy Block
