George W. Bush seemed totally sure that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but he can't seem to figure out whether his brother Jeb is going to run for president yet.
He does however think that the former Florida governor would totally beat Hillary Clinton in 2016 if he did run. Proving that W. still hasn't quite gotten over that habit of prematurely declaring victory.
"Jeb doesn't," big bro Bush said on CNN's State of the Union when asked if lil' Jebbers fears failure. "Nor does he fear success, by the way. One reason why is because he was an able governor of Florida.
"The final consideration, of course, is ... the family," Bush went on. "And he has -- he's seen what it's like to be the son of a president. He's seen what it's like to be a brother of the president ... He's not rushing into running for the presidency. I have no clue where his head is now."
Maybe he could call up Colin Powell to help him find that head.
However, Bush is sure Jeb would beat Hillary. "I think he'd beat her," he said. He also really wants Jeb to run.
"He knows I want him to run," he told interviewer Candy Crowley. "If I need to reiterate it, I will: Run, Jeb. I think he'd be a great president."
Meanwhile, Jeb himself isn't quite so sure what he's going to do either.
"I'm not saying, 'Oh, woe is me,' here, don't get me wrong," he said of the pressure and speculation at a Wall Street Journal event earlier today. "I've got to really do a lot of soul-searching."
