South Florida "Intergalactic Watch Company" Launches Indiegogo Campaign to "Restore Peaceful Consciousness to the World"

They say 2013 is the dawning of a new age; an age of enlightenment, when humanity will throw off the chains of the ego and awaken into a long-awaited evolution.

Given some of the mind-bogglingly horrific actions of our species in recent weeks, we're not so sure the human race is anywhere near an awakening. But hell, we can hope. And if such an event does arise, the folks at Time-Peace will totally be in the right place at the right time.

This New York-based start-up recently launched an Indiegogo campaign to fund their newest product: the InfiniTPeace, a "wearable work of art." While Time-Peace products do tell the time, that's not their primary purpose. Instead, they're designed to "remind you to be present in the only moment that ever exists - Now."

Calling themselves an "intergalactic watch company," their mission statement sounds a lot like the words of Eckhart Tolle, the Buddha, or even Charlie Sheen on a good day.

"We believe that time is infinite and measured subjectively by the individual. The only thing that truly exists is the now and everyone's perception of this now is unique," says Director of Propoganda, Adam Lichtenstein. "The InfiniTPeace reflects this idea via the 700+ possible combinations of band, casing, and face design. And every face design is an interpretation of the Time-Peace logo, which is a representation of our four principles."

Those principles are: "Time is an Illusion. Perception creates reality. Everything is interconnected. The Universe is in alignment."

The company is the product of a "Dream Team" of young South Florida men, including "Philosopher of Magic" Sean Altshuler and "Time Vanishing Mediator" Ian Koslow. They launched Time-Peace on 9/9/09 and have been creating watches, art, and accessories and hosting events ever since.

The colorful, intricately designed InfiniTPeace watches offer three interchangeable areas that can be customized: the case, the band, and the dial. There are nine case options, nine band options and seven dial options -- four original designs and three co-creation "peaces" by various artists. Two more co-creation dials are in the works, and contributions will earn the giver a vote as to which of six designs will make the cut.

Their Indiegogo goal is to raise $36,000 by Wednesday, January 23 at 11:59 p.m. (PST). So far, they're at $3,900, with 24 days to go.

Contributions to their fund can earn givers a whole host of goodies, from updates on their progress ($1) to a bundle that includes the entire InfiniTPeace collection, a t-shirt, a poster and a pizza party ($999).

According to Lichenstein, "We plan to have the PEACES ready by Spring 2013. For now, in this dimension, the InfiniTPeace will be available exclusively through our website,"
