Hallelujah holiday week! Monday mornings are that much more bearable when you know you've only got 72 hours of drudgery to endure before it's officially party time. If you're lucky, this is a three day week, and there are jello shots, barbecues and pool time at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

But it's easy to spend a fortune over the Fourth, so here's our list of free ways to have fun with all that precious free time.

Monday

Independence Day and Rocky at Blackbird Ordinary: What could be more American than face punches and saving the planet? This double-feature is the perfect lead-in to a celebratory week.

Tuesday

Free yoga at Bayfront Park: Might as well get your OM on before you engage in epic debauchery over the long weekend. You'll be all zen'd and ready for a marathon drinking sesh.

Thursday (Fourth of July)

Fourth of July bash at Brother Jimmy's: Celebrate Uncle Sam's birthday with a pig roast, all kinds of cocktails and live music, to boot. We're pretty sure Ben Franklin would have been a big fan of their fishbowls.
America's Birthday Bash in Bayfront Park: Sunshine, pony rides, a petting zoo and fireworks -- it doesn't get much more all-American than that!
