I just got word yesterday that R&B's newest sensation, Jazmine Sullivan is going to be in Pembroke Pines on December 21st. She'll be at Cafe Iguana (who seem to be booking a lot better shows lately) performing songs off of her solid debut album, Fearless.
Most
people only know Sullivan because of her two radio-friedly songs, "Bust Your
Windows" and "Need You Bad," but the rest of the album is even more
impressive. She's recently been nominated for five Grammy's because of
it. Right now, she's sort of like a baby Lauryn Hill to me with more
sass and attitude. It'll be interesting catching her in a live setting
to see if her voice is really that powerful.
Tickets are just $20 and you can either call 954 433-8787 or head to Cafe Iguana's site for more info.
